Description
Diclofenac Potassium + Serratiopeptidase + Paracetamol Tablets combines three medications: Diclofenac, Serratiopeptidase, and Paracetamol. Diclofenac and Paracetamol inhibit the action of a chemical messenger called cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, which generate other chemicals known as prostaglandins. These prostaglandins are generated at the sites of injury and lead to pain, swelling, and fever. By hindering the COX enzyme’s action, the production of prostaglandins decreases, which alleviates mild to moderate pain, inflammation, and fever. Serratiopeptidase functions as a mucolytic (breaking down thick protein at the affected site) and an anti-inflammatory agent, thereby minimizing swelling at the site of pain.
