ONDYCODE INJ.

Ondansetron Hydrochloride inj.

Description

Ondansetron Hydrochloride Injection includes Ondansetron, which functions by inhibiting the effects of a substance in the body (serotonin) that triggers nausea and vomiting. Consequently, Ondansetron helps to stop the feelings of nausea and vomiting associated with situations such as surgery, cancer chemotherapy, pregnancy, or motion sickness.

Uses of Ondansetron Hydrochloride Injection

Ondansetron is part of a class of drugs known as anti-emetics, which are mainly utilized to prevent nausea (the sensation of feeling sick) and vomiting (the act of expelling stomach contents), commonly following chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or surgical procedures. Nausea can be described as an uncomfortable sensation where an individual experiences a strong desire to vomit, whereas vomiting is the body’s instinctive reaction to expel its stomach contents forcefully.
